About Video Editor contractor (remote GMT-3) role

beCreatives is not your typical video editing agency. We work with multiple clients at a time on a subscription-based service, ensuring consistent and high-quality video content daily, monthly, or weekly. We are a fully self-funded company, thus standing by our vision, purpose, values, and goals helps us to provide our services to the masses. We are a truly hard-working creative group of people looking for YOU – a unique, passionate, and driven individual!

We are currently seeking a teammate for a remote Video Editor position, specifically looking for individuals based in LATAM. The Video Editor will collaborate with multiple clients, delivering repurposed or new video content consistently.

A great fit for this specific role is a person:

 

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in video editing;
  • Experience creating platform-specific content social media content;
  • To be an advanced user of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects;
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken;
  • Strong time management skills to handle deadlines;
  • Good communication skills and acting on feedback.

 

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience in working with apps, trying new tools for social media is very desireable
  • An eye for graphic design
  • Understanding of social media video trends and short-form storytelling.

Key Objectives and Responsibilities:

  • Work on video requests, editing short/quick span videos;
  • Communicate with and update the clients throughout the editing process;
  • Be responsive to re-edit phase comments;
  • Repurpose and resize content to different platforms;
  • Create visual hooks to capture audience’s primary focus within the first 3 seconds;
  • Once you get familiar with the style and needs of your client, you’ll be producing edits in 2-4h.

Salary range: 600–1300 USD/month (depending on editing hours)
